In Chinese physicians, spleen is susceptible to ‘dampness’. So spleen imbalance leads to tiredness, stress, muscle painful & heavy, bloatedness, eating disorders, weight changes, digestive & bowel problem, poor memory and concentration.
When the spleen energy is weak, it’s neighbor—Liver is easy to “attacks”, and people will easy to stress, tiredness. Stomach is spleen’s yang counter-part, so it is also sensitive to the spleen imbalance, people will have digestive & bowel problem. In this case, Chinese medicine and acupuncture can balance them through these meridians and solve the problem.
The spleen meridian starts from the inner big toenail and runs up the inner legs, ending mid way along the sides the the rib cage. So acupuncturist can insert the needles on the meridians to help the spleen imbalance.
Spleen’s element is earth, and the color is yellow. Eating some related food also can help to balance your spleen.

Millet, banana, corn, yam, sweet potato, yiyiren, baibiandou, beef, red beans, and the yellow color food, rice.
